Transnational Incorporated Federation of Formally Thrown Hat Associations.

T.I.F.F.T.H.A 

General Rules

* All hat must be practical headwear.

* All hats must be safe to throw.

* No dangerous metal (especially in bowlers).

* Hat fighting will result in a Sine Die ban from T.I.F.F.T.H.A competitions.

* Hat abuse will result in disqualification. 

* Decision of the Head Hatter, designated Hat Checker or Steward is final.

* For outdoor competitions hats must be  biodegradable incase of loss (Hatter’s                 discretion allowed).

This Competition’s Rules

* You can have a reasonable number of throws per donation.

* If a hats scores, that and the next 2 throws count. 

* If 3 throws in a row are successful the thrower moves back to the next mark, then carries on for 3 more throws, or until they miss.

* A miss ends that turn.

* The top candle holder scores 20 points. A hat anywhere else on the target scores 10 points.

* The nearest mark is x1 the points, the next x2, then x3 &c.

*  Once you have scored 3 in a row from all marks you move on to the Advanced Hat Stand.
